COLE, Nancy Charlotte

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 08/20/2004 Nancy Charlotte Cole, 71 of Show Low, and Pentwater, MIichigan, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004 in Big Rapids, Michigan. Her parents and one brother preceded her in death. Nancy was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Dec. 8, 1932 and spent her childhood there. She graduated from high school in Greenville, South Carolina. Nancy completed her education degrees from the University of Arizona, Tucson and Northern Arizona University at Flagstaff. Nancy's varied professions took her to Brazil, California and Arizona. She treasured many years of teaching White Mountain Apache children. She taught in Wisconsin Synod Lutheran schools for several years. They included East Fork Mission, Whiteriver, Grace Lutheran in Glendale, and King of Kings, Garden Grove, California. Nancy was blessed with countless loving relatives and friends to whom she was very thankful. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Hart, Michigan. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 21, at 1 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran in Hart. Interment will be in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
