The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 17, 1993 Leona P. Muncy of Wenden died Tuesday, March 9, 1993, in Wickenburg. She was 75. Mrs. Muncy was born March 18, 1917, at Hardin, Montana, and had lived in Arizona seven years, moving here from Utah. Mrs. Muncy had operated her own accounting firm, L&M Accounting and Income Tax Service. The firm was in operation for 18 years of which the first 11 years were in Beaver, Utah, and the last seven in Wenden. She was a member of the Eastern Star, serving as an officer throughout the years. She was also a member of the Wenden Bible Church. Mrs. Muncy is survived by her husband, Dennis, of Wenden; brother, Sheriff Wayne Babcock of Wenden; sister Wanda Cookman of Wenden and Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Muncy will be held at Hunter Mortuary in Long Beach, Calif. with interment in Westminster, California. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. All arrangements were handled through Frey Funeral Home.
