WANGERIN, Clarence Lawrence

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 10, 1993 Clarence Lawrence Wangerin of Wickenburg died Thursday, March 4, 1993. He was 77. Mr. Wangerin was born June 6, 1915 at Smith County, Kansas, and had lived in Wickenburg for 26 years, moving here from Santa Monica, Calif. in 1966. Mr. Wangerin had been in residential and commercial construction for 25 years in California and had continued building in Wickenburg for another 20 years where he built many custom homes. Retiring from business, he enjoyed traveling, gardening and many hobbies. Mr. Wangerin was preceded in death by his parents Estella and Franz Wangerin and a brother Merlin Wangerin. He is survived by his wife, Helen, of Wickenburg; son Lee Alan and his wife Linda of Lakewood, Calif.; sisters Vera Henkel of Ralston, Neb., Edith Lagasse of Santa Rosa, Calif., Juanita Reneberg and her husband Gordon; brothers Leland and his wife Wilma, Roy and his wife Mae, all of Kensington, Kansas, and sister-in-law Betty Wangerin of Sun City. Services have been held with Pastor Ed Wessling officiating. Burial will be held Thursday, March 11, at 1:30 p.m. at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, Calif. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wickenburg Community Hospital and Nursing Home, P. O. Box 1388, Wickenburg, AZ 85358. All arrangements were handled through Wickenburg Funeral Home.
