Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Thursday, April 22, 2010 Steve Edward Rutkowski 1966 - 2010 Steve Edward Rutkowski, 43, of Cottonwood, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Verde Valley Medical Center. He was born in Seattle, Wash., October 5, 1966, to Darlene and Jim Rutkowski. Steve worked for Fry’s Food and Drug Store for over 3 years. He was very well liked and loved by his fellow co-workers and loyal customers. He was engaged to be married to Mary Theresa Elliott on Thursday, May 13, 2010. Steve thoroughly enjoyed sports, especially wrestling and NASCAR Racing. He always loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. Steve is survived by his fiancé, Mary Theresa Elliott; her four children, Tara, Travis, Troy and Trever; along with her seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Jordyn, Quin, Rani, Tavin, Tory, and Baby Wyatt; his two children Jordan and Logan. The memorial service will be held at 10:00am Friday, April 23, 2010 at The Church of Latter-day Saints. Thank you to all for the love, support and generous donations.
