Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Thursday, April 22, 2010 Michael W. Shaffer 1946 - 2010 Michael W. Shaffer of Cottonwood died April 3, 2010, at the VA Hospital in Prescott, Ariz. He was 63, a Vietnam Veteran, born in Norfolk, Virginia, on December 2, 1946. He leaves behind three sisters, niece Alicia Bramblett, and nephew Dana Schumacher, great nieces and nephews Timothy, Jordan, Jonah, Sarah, and Anna Bramblett. Now he is in the hands of the Lord. The VA Hospice Unit of Prescott made arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
