The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 16, 2000, p. A18 Hattie B. Hanlon, former Town Clerk of Wickenburg in the 1940’s, died Jan. 27 in Reno, Nev. She was 102. Mrs. Hanlon was born March 20, 1897 in Sterling City, Texas, and came to Wickenburg as a youngster. She attended school here and later, after working as the Town Clerk, moved in 1950 with her husband to Sierraville, Calif. Survivors include three daughters, Jane Cooper of Loyalton, Calif., Billee Stoner of Sierraville, and June Vandendriss of Corvallis, Mont.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Hanlon, one sister, and six brothers. Memorial services have been held.
