The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 15, 2000, p. A16 Jennie T. Post of Wickenburg died March 11, 2000 in Sun City, West. She was 71. Mrs. Post was born June 7, 1928 in Johnstown, Pa., and had lived in Arizona for 12 years. She grew up in Boliver, Pa., and was married to Calvin, who was a Southern Baptist Minister for 35 years. She taught special education throughout her life, loving her students and caring for them in a way that only she could do. Many of them had been keeping contact with her throughout the years. She played a very active role in her church, teaching Adult Bible School as well as Vacation Bible School for the children. She will be missed by all the lives she touched, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends she made along the way. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Calvin and Lorraine Post of Colbert, Wash; daughters and sons-in-law Dorey and Dean Bohon of Wickenburg, and Heather and Mike Soothe of Newport News, Va.; sisters Julie Jarvis of Pennsylvania and Yvonne Krueger of Wisconsin; brothers Charles Klodell of Kentucky and Herbert Klodell of Texas; seven grandchildren; and 3.5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Post, Sr. A private funeral service was conducted. Brown’s Wickenburg Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
