Mrs. J. B. Maggie Armer, 88, who came to the Tonto Basin in 1877 from her birthplace in Whittier, Calif., died yesterday in a Phoenix hospital.
She was a member of the Arizona Pioneer's Association. She moved to Phoenix in 1914. She resided at 1207 W. Polk.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams.
The Rev. George Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the mortuary.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Irene Evans of Morristown; four sons, Press, Paul, and John Armer, and L. E. Gibson,all of Phoenix; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
