The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 5, 2000, p. A3 Lillian Pauline Cooper of Wickenburg, died March 8 in Peoria. She was 82. Miss Cooper was born July 7, 1917 in Marion, Ill. She had lived in Arizona since the mid-1980’s after retiring as a college librarian from Hollins College in Roanoke, Va. Survivors include her brother Ralph Cooper of Denver; nephews Hal Morton of Longmont, Colo.; John Coss of Eagle, Alaska, and Tom Cooper of Denver; nieces Lil Gilmore of Copper Center, Alaska and Melissa Love of Wheatland, Wyo.; her brother-in-law Ralph Coss of Boulder, Colo.; and several great-nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Henry and Carrie Kelton Cooper; brother-in-law Robert Morton of Boulder and sister-in-law Marlowe Cooper of Wickenburg. Services were Thursday March 30 at Green Mountain Cemetery in Boulder, Colo.
