The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 19, 2000, p. A16 Annie P. O’Shannon of Wickenburg, died April 17 in Wickenburg. She was 75. Mrs. O’Shannon was born June 29, 1924 in Alhambra, Calif. She had lived in Arizona most all of her life, moving to the state when she was 2 years old. Mrs. O’Shannon was preceded in death by her parents, Claudina and Raymon Contreas. Survivors include two daughters, Celee Taylor and Dena Willis, both of Wickenburg; sister Mary Giorgio of Wickenburg; brother Raymond Contreas of Cherry Valley, Calif.; grandchildren Keena Willis and Kami Willis, both of Phoenix, and Clayton Taylor and Hunter Taylor, both of Wickenburg; and great-grandson Tyler Encinas of Phoenix. A rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 23 at Frey Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.n. Monday, April 24 at St. Antony of Padua Catholic Church in Wickenburg. The Rev. John Vogt will officiate. Burial will be in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Frey Funeral Home of Wickenburg handled all arrangements.
