Darlene O’Shannon of Salome died April 20, 2000 in Salome. She was 77.

Darlene was born in Marion, Iowa, and had lived in Arizona for 25 years.

Survivors include sister-in-law Gertrude Barkwill; nieces Terri Johnson of North Liberty, Iowa, and Anna Wheeler of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and nephews Scott Barkwill of Mesa, Ariz., and Steven Barkwill of Vinton, Iowa.

A memorial service will be held today (Wednesday, April 26) at 11 a.m. at the Wenden Bible Church, with Pastor Lester Ray officiating.

Interment will be at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.
