SHAFER, Charles E.

Charles E. Shafer, 75, who formerly owned a poultry farm at 48th Street and Baseline Road, died April 4, 1981, in Phoenix General Hospital.
Mr. Shafer, 2200 W. Van Buren, sold the farm 15 years ago. He was a Philadelphia native and came to Phoenix from Iowa in 1941.
Survivors include sons, William and Edgar;12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at East Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern.
