TEMPE-Alta B. Clift, 88, a retired minister and former registered nurse, died April 4, 1981, in Tempe Community Hospital.
Mrs. Clift, 735 E. Apache Blvd., was a nurse in Chicago when she was ordained a minister in 1928 under the Open Bible Standard, based in Des Moines. She retired to Tempe in 1958.
There are no known survivors.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday. Friends may call Carr Mortuary in Tempe for the cemetery location.
