Willie "Dude" Cobbs, 59, of Phoenix and formerly of Avondale died March 23, 2010, in Phoenix.

Mr. Cobbs was born Aug. 10, 1950, in Phoenix to Christine and Lennis. He attended Avondale Elementary School and graduated from Agua Fria Union High School. He served in the Army. He was a mechanic.

He is survived by one daughter, Tanisha Liggins of Phoenix; two sisters, Joyce Overstreet of Tempe and Pearlie Caraway of Mesa; and one brother, Frank of Dallas, Texas.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at South Mountain Mortuary, 7007 S. Central Ave. in Phoenix. Services will begin at 11.
