Vera R. Flores, 86, of Goodyear died March 20, 2010, in Goodyear.

She was born Oct. 30, 1923, in New Mexico. She retired from Safeway's bakery department after 20 years.

She is survived by one son, Robert Trujillo; one daughter, Linda Sainz; two sisters, Nelly Ayago of San Bernardino, Calif., and Dolores in Barstow, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear. Interment will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.
