Janet Wood, 58, of Alamogordo, N.M., and formerly of Avondale died March 18, 2010, in Albuquerque, N.M.

She was born March 5, 1952, in Phoenix to Walter and Lola Burns. She worked at Zia Therapy Center Day Hab in Alamogordo. She was a member of Mountain View Assembly Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; one son, Michael Wetherbee of Tucson; one daughter, Kiki Wetherbee of Englewood, Colo.; one sister, Diane Denning of Surprise; and one granddaughter.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Hope Chapel, 17417 N. 63rd Ave. in Glendale. Interment will follow at Sunwest Cemetery, 12525 N.W. Grand Ave. in El Mirage.
