Published in The West Valley View 30 Mar 2010 Mildred Dejanovich, 100, of Goodyear died March 16, 2010, in Goodyear. Mrs. Dejanovich was born May 6, 1909, in Chicago. She was a retired police officer. She moved to Arizona in 2005. She was a member of numerous police organizations. She is survived by two daughters, Anna Marie Nargis of Illinois and Geraldine Johnson of Wisconsin; one son, Owen; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike. Services were March 22 at Washington Memorial Garden in Homewood, Ill. The Rev. Milos Vesin from St. Archangel Michael Serbian Church officiated.
