William C. “Chuck” Amick of Congress, died May 8 in Glendale. He was 60.
Mr. Amick was born Aug. 27, 1939 in Big Spring, Texas. He had lived in Arizona for the past year, coming here from California.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Janet, of Congress; mother Evelyn Schley of Rialto, Calif.; daughters and sons-in-law Roberta and David Zylstra of Fontana, Calif., Joan and Larry Whitsel of Upland, Calif., and Joyce and Bill Algeri of Massillon, Ohio; son John Loughrie of West Virginia; daughters and significant others Kristy Loughrie and Armando Casas of Oakland, Calif., and Jody Conlin and Tony McHenry of Adelanto, Calif.; sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Dan of Anchorage, Alaska; sister Saundra Schley of Rialto; grandchildren Joshua Loughrie of Adelanto, Stephanie Corrie of Stow, Ohio, Sandra Corrie of Massillon, Shawn Loughrie of Fontana, Time Corrie of Maryland, and Antoniette Casas of Oakland; great-grandson Corry; and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 17 at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.
The Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
