Jackson, 81, of Wickenburg, who died May 22. The services will be at 2 p.m. on May 31, at the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. An obituary for Mrs. Jackson will be in next week’s Wickenburg Sun. The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ May 31, 2000, p. A16 Betty H. Jackson of Wickenburg, died May 22 in Sun City West. She was 81. Mrs. Jackson was born Feb. 23, 1919 in Bergen, N.Y. She had lived full-time in Arizona for the past three years. With her husband, she was a winter visitor to Wickenburg for the past 20 years. She was a long-time resident of New York, where she attended Brockport Normal School. She was married to her husband Frank, who survives her, for 59 ½ year. While living in New York, she was a member of the Browncroft Community Church in Rochester and an affiliate member of First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend and will be missed by all who knew her. Betty was preceded in death by one brother and a grandson. In addition to her husband, Frank H. Jackson, she is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Mary Jackson and Douglas and Linda Jackson, all of Rochester, N.Y.; brother Warren Hewes of Spencerport, N. Y.; sister-in-law Marjorie Hewes Tuttle of California; and granddaughters Dana, Kari, and Lisa, and grandsons Mark, David and Mikael Jackson. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 31, at the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. The Rev. James Longstreet and the Rev. John Martin will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Bergen United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 216, Bergen, N.Y. 14416. Frey Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
