BODIROGA, George Gleekel

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Mr. Bodiroga rites Tuesday (Thursday, Nov. 12, 1964) Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Whipple Chapel at the Ft. Whipple Veterans Administration Hospital for George Bodiroga, 71, who passed away Nov. 6 in that hospital following a lengthy illness. Burial was at the Whipple Cemetery. Mr. Bodiroga was a resident of Wickenburg for many years where he was fondly known as "Uncle George" to many residents. He had lived in Arizona 51 years and had engaged in mining in this and other areas of the state. He was born in Yugoslavia and was a veteran of World War I. The only immediate survivor is a son George Jr., residing in California, and three grandchildren. In Wickenburg reside his nephews Oberan [Obren], George and Wesley Bodiroga and niece Mrs. Stella Dixon.
