HAGGARD, Joe William

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Tuesday, April 27, 2010 Joe William Haggard, 72, formerly of Flagstaff, died April 17, 2010, at his home in Grandy, N.C. He was born Feb. 18, 1938, in Tulsa, Okla. Throughout his life, Mr. Haggard traveled and lived from coast to coast, establishing treasured friendships along the way. He was known for his dedication to work and was an accomplished manager of operations and systems. He was also known for his integrity and commitment to fairness throughout his years in business. He was married to his best friend and high school sweetheart, Carolynn Marie Haggard, for 53 years. They were inseparable until her death in September 2009. Along the way, they raised seven children and shared their love of travel, people, music and adventure. With unwavering commitment, they laughed through the good times and leaned on each other through more challenging days, setting a fine example of genuine love.
