WATSON, Ronald Eugene


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 09/14/2004 Ronald Eugene Watson, 48, died Sept. 8, 2004. He was born in Mesa and attended Papago Elementary School. He attended high school at Coronado High School in Scottsdale. On Nov. 30, 1974 he married Janet Christine Meyer, and they moved to Show Low Aug. 1993. Ronald was a self-employed painting contractor. He loved being out in the woods, loved hunting and deep-sea fishing. He also loved horseback riding with his wife and granddaughter. Ronald also liked to ride motorcycles. Last October when his son randy was returning home from the Gulf war he was invited to meet Randy in Hawaii and sail back home on the USS Nimitz with him. Ronald is survived by his wife, Janet Watson of Linden; sons, Randy E. US Navy Bremerton, Washington, Joseph C. of Show Low; daughter, Danna Chester of Phoenix; mother, Barbara Ellen Watson of Maricopa; birth father, Eugene (Sandra) Bearden of Anchorage, Alaska; in-laws, Cora and Don Meyers of Pinetop; one brother, Dennis D. Watson of Prescott; one sister, Teri Michelle Krabbe; three grandchildren, Thomas Tyrone Watson, Rebecca Ann Watson, and Kaila Christine Watson. He had many close friends who were like brothers to him. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14 at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Pinetop. In lieu of flowers there is a Ronald E. Watson Memorial Fund established, payable by check only to St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, P.O.
