Dr. Corwin Samuel West, 71, died in Orem Utah Sept. 13, 2004.
He was born in Lakeside and spent his life in Lakeside, Utah and Mesa. He is survived by his wife Johnna May West; four sisters; one brother; 10 children; along with many grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 17 at the Third Ward LDS Chapel in Orem, Utah.
Walker Mortuary in Utah handled arrangements.

Corwin Samuel West, 71, died Sept. 13, 2004, at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Corwin was born Nov. 27, 1932, in Lakeside, to Karl Bates West and Irma Hansen West. He married Johna May Nielson Nov. 10, 1955, in the Mesa LDS Temple. He graduated from Mesa High School, Arizona State with a Bachelors in Chemistry, a Masters in Public School Administration, Arizona and a Doctorate in Naprapathy. He taught chemistry at Westwood High School in Mesa.
He was a Doctor of Naprapathy and Naturopathy, and was a health lecturer and Lymphologist. He was a member of International Society of Lymphology. He wrote "The Golden Seven Plus One," "A 31 Step Equation,"and "The 2 Formulas For Life and Death At The Cell Level". He has spent most of his life in medical research.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission to the Northwest States and served in various callings throughout his life. He especially enjoyed teaching others the Gospel.
He is survived by his wife Johna May: seven sons and three daughters, Katherine (Jon) Palmer, Deborah (Ron) Coon, Joseph West, all of Gilbert; David (Tana) West, Queen Creek; Sheryl (Patrick) Kelly, Clearfield; Corwin (Karie) West, Payson; Karl West, Stephen (Melissa) West, Daniel (Katty) West, all of Orem; Benjamin (Laura) West, Tennessee; 33 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother and four sisters, Geraldine Peterson, Mildred (Arthur) Packard, Karl (Barbara) West, Wanda (Melvin) Palmer, all of Mesa; and Roxie Owens, Show Low.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 17, in the Orem 3rd Ward Chapel, 50 South 800 East, Orem. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
