RIETHMILLER, Robert Alexander


Robert Alexander Riethmiller, 87, passed away on December 4, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 16, 1915 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. After serving in the U.S. Army during WW II, he moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1948. Robert was employed by Phoenix Holsum bakery as a Distribution Superintendent until his retirement in 1980. Robert enjoyed his many friends with whom he shared an avid interest in traveling, golfing, bowling and playing poker. He was a cheerful caring man who was devoted to his family and friends. Robert was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed and will be missed by those who knew him. He is survived by his son Robert D. and daughter-in-law Anna of Ft. Mohave, AZ His grandchildren and their spouses include Rae-Ann and Jerry Hopper, Michael and Barbara Riethmiller, Stacy and Patrick Maine, and Jessica and Brian Stafford all in the Phoenix area. Great Grandchildren Dameon Goodway, Celeste Goodway, and Sierra Maine. Brothers Wayne Riethmiller of Key Largo, FL Ray Riethmiller of Circleville, OH and Roy Riethmiller of Martins Ferry, OH. Graveside services will be held at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery Garden of Prayer on December 14, 2002 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the American Cancer Society.
