George C. Underdown of Tucson and a former Wickenburg resident, died June 26, in Tucson.

While in Wickenburg he was a general contractor and was well known for his talent in artistic architecture. He was co-developer of Rio Vista Hills.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty L. Sumner Underdown, daughter and son-law Maya and Jack Larsen, and son Carrick Underdown.
