DEWINDT, Heert D. (Dutch)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 20, 2000, p. A8 Heert “Dutch” D. deWindt of Aguila, died Sept. 8 in Phoenix. He was 94. Mr. deWindt was born in 1906 in Harligen, Friesland, the Netherlands. He was a longtime Arizona resident. Survivors include two daughters, Janis L. Burkhardt and Tena M. deWindt; three sons, Wietse L. deWindt, Heert P. deWindt, and John E. deWindt; a brother, John deWindt; 25 grandchildren; and 49 great-grandchildren. Services have been held.
