BEGAY, Kandy Ann

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Thursday, April 29, 2010 Kandy Ann Begay, 32, died April 25, 2010, in Holbrook. She was born Feb. 26, 1978, in Keams Canyon. She graduated from Holbrook High School in 1997 and then went to Phoenix Job Corp Center, graduating in 2001. She was employed by Coconino Community College as an administrative assistant. She loved being with family and friends and going to NASCAR races. Mrs. Begay is survived by her husband, Antonio Begay; daughters Kamby Rarisha Kelly and Nia-Imoni Samiah Begay; parents Frank and Verna Kelly; grandmother Eva Jenson Clark; sisters Virgena Russell and Francine Kelly; brothers Franco Kelly and Frank Kelly, Jr.; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Helen Kelly; paternal grandfather Kenneth Kelly; and great-grandmother Mary R. Clay. A funeral service is Friday at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Winslow Stake Center. Burial will follow in Desert View Cemetery, in Winslow.
