MEAD, Earl Allen

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 4, 2000, p. A16 Earl Allen Mead died Sept. 25 and was reborn to heaven. He was 78. Mr. Mead was born April 14, 1922. Earl Mead was a World War II veteran and a 30-year retiree from General Motors in Lansing, Mich. Earl and Rita lived in Arizona the past 29 years. Earl resided in Circle City for 12 years. He fought a battle for the last four years, a battle that could not be won 9cancer). A man well loved, he leaves behind six wonderful children, daughters Bonnie Ross and Kimberly Hilgers of Wickenburg and Victoria Franklin of St. Johns, Mich.; and sons Gary mead of Dimandale, Mich., Richard mead of Modesto, Calif., and Michael Mead of Holt, Mich. We love you, daddy. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, Jonell, Joe, Lori, Kimberly, Brad, Traci, Richard, Jr., Gabriela, Mary Anne, Bridget, Autumn, Jay, Rebecca and Cory; 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Services have been held. Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
