Frank Landers of Peeples Valley died Oct. 7 at his home. He was 70.
Mr. Landers was born Oct. 12, 1920 in Des Moines, Iowa. He had lived in Arizona for more than 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Connie; sons Paul Landers of Peeples Valley and Tom Landers of Phoenix; daughters Karen Little and Julia Beebe, both of Phoenix; sisters Wilma Fisher of Black Canyon city and Betty Wright of Oskaloosa , Iowa; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday, Oct. 12 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1212 E. Glendale Ave., Phoenix.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, in Phoenix, Ariz., for Frank R. Landers, who died Oct. 7 of cancer at age 70.
Mr. Landers was born Oct. 12, 1929, Des Moines, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War and then attended Drake University in Des Moines.
He was a detective for the Phoenix police for 20 years until 1980, when he moved to Portland. In Portland, he was head of security for Consolidated Freightways until retiring in 1997, when he returned to Phoenix. In 1955, he married Connie Carpenter
Survivors include his wife; sons, Paul and Tom; daughters, Karen Little and Julie Beebe; sisters, Wilma Fisher and Betty Wright; and 11 grandchildren.
Disposition is by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott, Ariz.
