The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 22, 2000, p. A3 Margaret F. Moe of Wickenburg, died Nov. 14 at Wickenburg Regional Medical Center. She was 80. Miss Moe was born Nov. 1, 1920 in Anaconda, Mont. She had lived in Arizona for the past 60 years. Margaret's father, John, was born in Tronheim, Norway, and her mother, Maggie, was born in Ireland. The couple moved to Montana to join Maggie's four sisters who had immigrated to the United States with financial help from family members. Margaret lived with her parents while attending Butte Business College, graduating in 1942. She then worked as Dr. Floyd B. Bralliar's personal secretary in Wickenburg. Upon Dr. Bralliar's retirement she continued as his personal caregiver until his death on April 15, 1988. Margaret remained a close personal friend after Dr. Bralliar's death. Margaret was proud to be of Norwegian and Irish descent. And, she had the spunk to prove it. Family members say Margaret stood for fair play, loyalty, kindness, humor, generosity, spirituality, and was a sweet soul. Margaret was preceded in death by her siblings, Tom, Ray, Nellie and John. She is survived by two nieces, Wynne Wakley of Montana and Diane Munson of California; and a nephew, Neil Wakley of Washington. Private family services have been held.
