The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 13, 2000, p. A8 George W. Spiegelberg of Wickenburg, passed away Dec. 8. He was 81. Mr. Spiegelberg was born Oct. 16, 1919 in Laramie, Wyo., the only child of Walter and Leona Spiegelberg. George was a cabinet maker by vocation and in later years a full partner in the family construction business in Laramie. George married Emma Robertson on March 2, 1937 in Fremont, Neb. After retirement and 25 years as snowbirds, George and Emma moved to Wickenburg in 1995. George was a lifelong member of Saint Pauls UCC Church in Laramie, and was a lifelong member of Laramie Elks Lodge No. 582. George was an avid hunter, fisherman and snowmobiler until his retirement. He always enjoyed woodworking and oil painting. George is survived by his wife, Emma; son, Steve; two grandsons, Ronald and Eric; and three grandchildren. Services have been held. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Frey Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
