CAMPOS, Hector O.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 09/17/2004 Hector O. Campos died at his home in Eagar, Sept. 10, 2004. He recently was diagnosed with cancer. Hector was born July 29, 1931 in Los Angeles, California to Jose and Marian Campos. He served in the United States Army in Korea. He was a teamster and general foreman with Bechtel Construction Company. He made his home in Arizona for the past 44 years. He married Lois Cary in June of 1961. They had two children. His survivors include his wife Lois Campos, Eagar; daughter Lynda Campos, Phoenix; son Larry Campos, Tucson; mother Marian Campos, La Habra, Calif.; and sister Armida Grijalva, La Habra, Calif.; and one grandson. Funeral services for Hector will be Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post No. 30 in East Springerville. Visitation will be just prior to the service starting at 1 p.m. Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
