GHRAMM,
Aron W.
The White Mountain Independent,
Show Low, Arizona - 09/21/2004
Aron W. Martin-Ghramm, age 16, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004.
Aron was born in Phoenix and he has lived in Show Low since he was three years old. He attended Show Low Elementary School and was a Sophomore at Show Low High School. Aron was born with congenital kidney problems and during his short life he faced many health trials. In June of 1995 he received a kidney transplant, which was a real blessing to him.
In January 2001 he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was a courageous young man and gave it a real fight. Aron loved baseball and basketball.
He was on the city youth teams that were sponsored by the Show Low Parks and Recreation Department, and enjoyed the friendship of all whom he associated with. It has been said that he brought sunshine into everyone's life and he didn't know a stranger. He was always thinking of others and didn't want for them to be worrying about him. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Aron is survived by his parents, Ralph & Kimberly Ghramm of Show Low; two brothers, Timothy Rogers of Houston, Texas, and Wayne Rogers of Austin, Texas; one sister, Leah Martin of Page, Arizona; and his grandparents, Clyde and Melva Ghramm of Show Low.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at the Show Low Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A viewing will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 at Owens Mortuary in Show Low.
Burial will be in the Show Low Cemetery.
