Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 1, 1973 Thomas E. Walden – A massive search ended Thursday when the downed plane and body of Thomas E. Walden, of Aguila, near found near Quartzsite. Walden had left Aguila at about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday enroute to Palm Springs. When he didn’t arrive at his destination an intensive air and ground search was organized. Walden was the manager of Farmer‘s Investment Co., handling 14,000 acres of cotton and cattle operation in Aguila. He was a graduate of Yale, received his masters degree from Stanford where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class. He is survived by his father, R. Keith Walden, and brother Richard, both of Green Valley, and his mother, Mrs. Barbara Culbertson Walden of Corono Del Mar., Cal.
