Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Thursday, April 29, 2010 Anna Belle Schouten, 82, of Camp Verde passed away April 26, 2010. Belle was born August 24, 1927 in Laramie, Wyoming to the late Ray and Allie (Marlin) Abbey. Belle could often be seen walking her dog “Tipsy” along First Street in Camp Verde. She loved volunteering in the nursery at Parkside Community Church where she was a member. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Shirley Schouten. She is survived by her sons, Tom Schouten, Leroy Schouten, and Nathaniel Schouten; her daughter, Debbie Schouten; her brother, Nathaniel Abbey; her sister, Rose Schouten; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, at Parkside Community Church, 401 Camp Lincoln Road, Camp Verde.
