Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Friday, April 30, 2010 Claude Waldo Jones Jr., 84, of Flagstaff, died March 14, 2010, in San Francisco. He was born April 15, 1925, in Malad, Idaho. Mr. Jones was a truck driver for almost 40 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a radio operator in the Pacific Theater. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading. Mr. Jones is survived by daughters Lorna of Florida, Valerie of Florida, Dawn of Louisiana, Michelle of Chino Valley and Lydia of Kansas City, Kan.; son Clinton of Florida; stepdaughters Renee Harper of Flagstaff and Diane Harper of Mesa; stepson Terry Harper of North Carolina; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother Rell Jones; his first wife, Patricia Lee Jones; and last wife Dolores Gail Jones. Services will be private. Pacific Interment Mortuary handled arrangements.
