Loretta "Tink" Johnson, 46, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at her home in Taylor. She was born Aug. 21, 1963, in Show Low to William Ed and Lapriel Gillespie.
She was raised in Taylor and graduated from Snowflake High School. She attended cosmetology school in Provo, Utah. She moved home to finish up her degree at Holbrook cosmetology. She married Leslie Charles Johnson of Mesa Nov. 4, 1983, in the Mesa Arizona Temple. She loved decorating cakes and enjoyed writing poetry. She was a fun loving mother, sister and daughter to be around.
She was preceded in death by her brother in law George K. Hall.
Tink is survived by husband, Les Johnson; children Jeremy (Jennie), Dustin (Amber), Brandon (Allee), Skyler (Marissa), Tiffani, Brianna, and Heather; three grandchildren Kaden, Aevyn and Nori; parents Ed and Lapriel Gillespie; brothers Kerry (Karen) and Todd (Carolyn) Gillespie; sisters Denise (Brian) Carpenter and Sherilyn (Kipp) Peterson; 29 nieces and nephew and 34 great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at the Taylor LDS Stake Center.
