DEYOUNG, Roger Charles

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 04/30/2010 Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Roger Charles DeYoung, 97, died peacefully Aril 24, 2010, at Peppi's House Hospice in Tucson. He was born Oct. 29, 1912, in Chicago, Ill. Roger was a Show Low Manor resident for several years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Iona; son Jerry (Syd) of Gilbert; daughter Sandy (Bob) of San Francisco, Calif.; son Howard (Carol) of Tucson; and daughter Pat (Frank) of Moses Lake, Wash. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph; mother, Maude and sister Doris. At Roger's request no services will be held. He will be laid to rest at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
