SHERWOOD, Etta Hawkins

Mrs. Etta Hawkins Sherwood, 94, a resident of Wickenburg for many years, died November at the Glendale Nursing Home in Glendale, where she had been a patient.

Mrs. Sherwood descended from a family with an early historical back ground.  Her grandfather was a state senator in the early days of West Virginia.  Her mother’s family descended from the Minors who came to this country from England in 1630.

Mrs. Sherwood was born November 6, 1876 in Marion County, West Virginia.

Survivors include a nephew Kester Billingsley of Sun City and several nieces and nephews out of state.
