Linda Sue Keams 50, died April 28, 2010, in Mesa.
She was born April 24, 1960, in Tuba City. She was from the Kiyaa'aanii (Towering Rock People Clan) and for Kinlichiinii (Red House People), and Totsohnii (Big Water) and Tsenjikini (Honey Comb Rock Clan).
Ms. Keams was from Lower Greasewood Springs. She attended elementary and high school in Holbrook. She attended Haskell University in Lawrence, Kan., and Berkley University in Long Beach, Calif. She worked for Motorola in Mesa; Indian Wells Elementary School and the Hubbell Trading Post in Winslow. She lived in Mesa.
Ms. Keams is survived by her daughter, Julianne Christine Keams; brothers Emerson Keams, Rickson E. Keams and Nelson J. Keams; and sisters Katherine M. Davis and Grace C. Keams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bahe and Louise Keams, and her grandmother, Christine Joe.
Holy Rosary will be recited Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winslow. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow, with Father Frank Chacon officiating. Interment will be in Desert View Cemetery.
