The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 24, 1974, p. 4 Eugene Coon Mrs. Eugenia Coon died January 20 in Community Hospital here. Services were held at the Wickenburg Funeral home Wednesday, January 23, at 3 p.m. She will be buried in St. Johns, Arizona. Born November 10, 1892 near St. Johns, Mrs. Coon lived all of her 81 years in Arizona. She was a school teacher for more than 30 years in the St. Johns area prior to retiring to Wickenburg 14 years ago. She is survived by her husband, Allie S. Coon of Wickenburg; a daughter, Aliene Mason of San Jose, California, four grandchildren,, three great grandchildren, and two sisters, Mr. Cora Anderson and Mrs. Dora Udall, both of St. Johns. The family requests donation to the Arizona Heart Association in lieu of flowers.
