The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, A January 24, 1974, p. 4 Services for Dovie Jane Dressendofer were held at Wickenburg Funeral Home on January 3, Rev. G. B. Huthmacher officiating. Burial followed in Wickenburg Cemetery. Born August 8, 1905 in Illinois, she died in the St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix on January 3. Mrs. Dressendofer had been a resident of Wickenburg until two years ago when she went to live with a daughter in Kentucky. At the time of her death she was making her home with a son in Las Vegas. Survivors include five daughters: Glenna Stanley, Murray, Ky.; Audrey Houpt, Topeka, Kansas; Mamie Dean Ford, Las Vegas; Betty Jane Gallegoes, Aurora, Ill.; and Carolyn Bogard, Murray, Ky.; two sons: Samuel, Jr., Elgin, Ill.; and Bob of Las Vegas. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, one sister, Cecille Pickens, Springfield, Mo., and one brother Arlee Pinell of St. Louis, Mo.
