The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 14, 1974, p. 15 GUY STEGALL Gerald Guy Stegall, 60, a long time Wickenburg resident, died February 7 in John C. Lincoln Hospital. Since coming to Wickenburg from Grand Junction, Colorado, Mr. Stegall and his wife Mary, owned and operated the Purple Hills Motel and the Culligan Soft Water Service. Mr. Stegall has been very active in community activities, having served as a City Councilman, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Elder and Deacon in the Presbyterian Church, President of the Wickenburg Bowling Association and Director for the State Bowling Association. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his son, Larry and three grandchildren of Denver, Colorado; his sister Edythe Stegall of Wickenburg; a brother, George, of Galesburg, Illinois. Services were held Monday, afternoon, February 11.
