FRANK W. KERR
Graveside services for Frank W. Kerr, 80, who died Sunday in Community Hospital here, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Prescott National Cemetery.
Mr. Kerr was born in Chicago, had lived in Arizona for 26 years and in Wickenburg for two years.
He was a retired teacher and had been a teacher and coach at high schools in Winslow and Nogales and was the first coach at Jerome High School.
He was a veteran of World War I, and has been a 50-year member of the Golden Legion Alumni Club of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, a member of the American legion and belonged to Veterans of World War I.
During World War II he worked for the War Department as a civilian instructor at Chanute Field, Rantoul, Ill., and later was a seasonal park ranger at El Morro, N.M.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; a daughter, Mrs. Dorcas Frederick of Holbrook; two sisters out of state, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
