Alex Nuzzo Alex Nuzzo passed away from a heart attack in Surprise, Ariz. with loved ones at his side. Alex was beloved husband of Mary (Coccimiglio) Nuzzo; devoted mother of the late Ralph (Karen), the late Lisa (Michael) and Alex (Karen) Nuzzo. Loving grandfather to Joel, Alex, Jannette, Teresea, Phil, Katie, Lourie, Michael, Ashley, Alexandria, Kristi, Elizabeth & Robert. Great-grandfather to fifteen beautiful children; and dear uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was born and raised in Chicago, IL and attended local schools. Alex was very well known for being a very hard worker and “doing what he needed to do to get the job done”. He was the proud Owner of Master Craft Contractors, in Franklin Park, IL. Recently moving to Arizona, he spent his free time playing golf and tennis as much as possible. Some of his favorite activities included his annual golf trip to Reno and hosting friends at his vacation home in Pinetop, Ariz. A celebration of Alex’s life will be held, March 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Desert Canyon Golf Club. Directions are available at desertcanyongolf.com. Although he started college to major in journalism, he instead had a long career as a land surveyor in California and Arizona, recently retiring from RFA Surveys in Fountain Hills. He enjoyed music and played in a rock band on the weekends for many years. Recently he spent his free time playing golf and tennis as much as possible. One of his favorite activities included his annual golf trip to Reno and hosting friends at his vacation home in Pinetop, Ariz.
