The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 11, 1974, p. 8 EDWARD B. CLARK Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Wickenburg Funeral Home last week for Edward B. Clark of Congress. Graveside rites and final internment were in Idaho, where he was interred in the family plot. Mr. Clark was born November 12, 1887 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He followed the gold rush trail to Alaska, where he spent several years. Spending time in Oregon and Southern Idaho, he finally settled in Clark Fork, Idaho, where he owned timberland and farmed, logged and mined for over fifty years. He and Mrs. Clark came to Congress in the early 1950’s. Survivors include his widow, Opal, two daughters, Evelyn Petersen of Spokane and Ella Mae Johnson of Othello, Washington and three sons: E. Burn and Griard Clark of Congress and Emory J. Clark of Spokane. The Clarks have 10 grandchildren. Mr. Clark was known as a kindly neighbor and real gentleman and will be missed by his friends in Congress. Mr. John Hatcher, and his daughter, Mrs. Dan Smith of Chandler were among the previous Idaho friends who attended the services.
