Man Dies in
Motorcycle Mishap

A 19-year-old man lost his life here last week in a one vehicle accident.

Ralph Schott Wancewicz of Merced, California, was riding his 1964 Triumph Chopper in the desert two miles north of Wickenburg on Constellation Road when the accident occurred.

Wancewicz reportedly was playing dirt bike with the Chopper when he lost control of the machine and struck three trees, breaking his neck in the collision.
A passenger on the bike prior to the accident, Othel Allen Sullivan had dismounted while Wancewicz was making his last ride. Sullivan walked to La Siesta to call police, a walk of 30 minutes. The accident was investigated by Sheriff’s Deputies.
