Brad Blossom
Active Wickenburg resident Brad Blossom died Friday June 14 at Wickenburg Community Hospital of Cancer.
Blossom, 62, was born and educated in St. Louise and graduated from Amhurst College in 1934.
He worked as an investment broker in the 1930’s and founded Master Plastic Corporation which furnished parts for the aircraft industry in the 40’s.
He sold his interest in 1952 and the following year married Eleanor Barrows Waterbury. He moved her and her family to St. Louis where he operated an insurance agency until 1960.
He was a winter visitor to Wickenburg since 1953 until 1960 when he established a home here. He was active in several small businesses and in 1967 he was a founder of Hydroculture, Inc., a pioneer firm in hydroponic growing. He served as Vice-President and Director of that Company until his death.
He is survived by his mother and brother in St. Louis, his wife and two adopted children and five grandchildren.
