The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, June 21, 1974 Lucie Ross Johnson Lucie Ross Johnson, 90, died at the Arizona Pioneer Home Wednesday, June 19 after a lingering illness. Mrs. Johnson was born in Baltimore, Md. and had moved to Arizona 76 years ago. She had worked as a secretary in the state motor vehicle department for many years. Survivors include two nephews, Worthington J. Harris of Charlotte, N.C. and John Ross Harris of Wilmington, Del. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church with burial to follow in the Pioneer Cemetery. Wednesday June 19, 1974 after a short illness. Miss Johnson was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had moved to Arizona 76 years ago. She worked as a secretary in the State Land Department later transferring to Motor Vehicle Department until her retirement in 1964 when she purchased a home in Wickenburg. She lived here until entering the Arizona Pioneer home in 1972. Miss Johnson was a member of the Bishops Committee when the construction and dedication of St. Albans Episcopal Church was accomplished and became president of the Alter Guild. She had been a member of Trinity Cathedral for many years. Survivors include two nephews, Worthington J. Harris of Charlotte, N.C., and John Ross Harris of Wilmington, Delaware. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 22, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Prescott. They were conducted by Fr. Pettengill and F. William Forrest. Burial was in the Pioneer Home Cemetery.
