PENSON, Frank (Swede)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 09/24/2004 Frank "Swede" Penson died in his Mesa home on Sept. 20, 2004. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri Sept. 16, 1923. He worked for Reidhead Lumber Company in Show Low as manager for 38 years when he then retired, moved to Mesa to be with his kids and grandchildren. He loved fishing, hunting, his family, friends and playing cards (Rummy) with family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Drenna, recently celebrating 56 years of marriage; son Steve Penson of Gilbert; daughter Sally Clark of Mesa; grandkids Michael Penson of Phoenix, Allen Clark of Mesa, Becky Clark of Mesa, Angela Penson and Robert Penson of Gilbert; one great-granddaughter Adelyn Simpson of Mesa. A Memorial will be held in the Spring of 2005 in the White Mountains. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Odyssey Hospice 602-279-0677. Arrangements entrusted to Mtn.
